I Am Alive-MP Anywar Dispels Death Rumours

Kitgum Municipality Member of Parliament, Beatrice Anywar has dismissed death rumours making rounds on social media, noting that she’s alive.

“They have killed me several times with rumours but whoever they are must be ashamed of their evil thoughts. They must be political opponents,” Chris Obore, the Director of  Communication and Public Affairs at Parliament of Uganda, quoted Anywar as saying on his official facebook page.

Vowing never to succumb to such rumours, Anywar fondly known as Mama Mabira said let cowards continue with rumours to scare her supporters, but she will pray for them to see sense someday.

She urged the public to remain calm because she is not going to die because some people are using social media reckless.

“God has a day for each of us to face death but not through rumours. I will not die because of social media cowards,” she added.

Anywar was in March this year involved in an accident that saw the vehicle she was traveling in overturn while she returned from a funeral in Lamwo district.

Anywar was from the burial of Acholi educationist Michael Ocan, also the Husband to Gulu Woman Member Of Parliament Betty Aol Ocan.

In April, she was referred to India for further treatment, according to reports.
