Fortebet, Uganda’s biggest betting company-with branches throughout Uganda has rewarded its Kawempe customers with lots of goodies.
This gifts bonanza took place at Fortebet Kawempe Towers centre, over the weekend. This comes just a week after Fortebet; the company with the best betting odds gave out gifts to its customers at the same centre. “Many customers missed out gifts last time. So, many requested that we come back and give more gifts. Last weekend we gave out gifts to 20 people and this time 30,” said John Nanyumba, the company’s Media Manager just after the gifts handover.
Customers were rewarded differently (according to their stake) with gifts like original team jerseys for top English Premier League teams like Arsenal, Manchester United and Real Madrid (Spain), caps, T-shirts, pens, wristbands-all branded with Fortebet.
“Fortebet is the only betting company in Uganda doing this. We have done it before and we shall continue because we have a lot in stock. In that line, today, we have not only come to thank you for betting with Fortebet, but to also give back to you,” Nanyumba added.
As usual, the rules for winning the gifts were very simple-one needed to have placed a bet of as low as Shs2000 and above to qualify.
Two customers (Freeman and Husseien K.) won themselves Liverpool and Real Madrid jerseys after placing bets of Shs50, 000 each. In addition, they also won wristbands and pens. Other customers like Ronald K., Kako N., waswa600 and rona@ (online nicknames for the last two) won themselves Fortebet caps, while kakooza and mknk (both online nicknames) won themselves Fortebet T-shirts. The rest of the customers who placed bets from Shs2, 000 won the rest of the gifts like pens and wristbands.
“We want to give out as many gifts as possible to all our customers across Uganda. Customers in the places we have not reached, please just be on standby, we shall get to your branch soon,” Nanyumba noted. This weekend, Fortebet will give out gifts to customers at Katwe Ku Tawo centre, starting at midday.
