Civil Aviation Authority Rubbishes Sacking Of Its Top Bosses Reports

Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has described social media reports insinuating that the CAA Board and Management have been sacked as unfounded.

In a statement, Vianney M. Luggya, the Manager Public Affairs at CAA says: “We would like to inform the general public that what is circulating on social media is not true. CAA is committed to delivering its statutory mandate and there have been no changes as alleged. We shall continue to ethically promote a safe, secure and affordable air transport system.”

He adds: “The public is urged to ignore the rumours. CAA operations have not been disrupted in any way.”

Social media reports allege that President Yoweri Museveni had CAA Board and top management over corruption.

CAA is headed by Dr. David Kakuba as Managing Director while Eng. Edward Mike Ndawula is the Board Chairman.
